Research! Research! Research!

Research! Research! Research!

In the seemingly infinite universe that is CBD products, it is very easy to get lost and confused, not knowing where you are wandering and ending up with a subpar product that doesn’t do anything besides cost you money. It's harder than you think for the average (Mary) Jane to gauge the legitimacy of a CBD product or company, so we here at Aqueous have decided to give you some tricks of the trade to keep in mind for the next time you decide to purchase some CBD.

  1. Research! Have an idea of what you want before you buy. There is a plethora of third party information and research just a few clicks away. This may seem simple, but the CBD industry can be very overwhelming, and not having a clear idea of the type of product you want can make you easily distracted by all of the shiny new toys out on the market. Like any booming industry, the CBD industry is full of people who want to make easy money. Not everyone cares about the quality of their products, they may just want them to look appealing and marketable.
  1. It’s important to only buy products from verifiable brands that are lab tested. And just because it says third party lab tested, doesn’t mean it is. Any product you consider buying should also have a Certificate of Analysis. The COA shows the name of the lab that tested the CBD and its composition broken down by percentages. If there is no COA and the company won’t provide one, run. When putting something in your body, CDB or not, always make sure the product is third-party, lab tested (please? for me?). Besides basic safety measures, ensuring a product is lab tested means that you are actually getting what you pay for, and not getting ripped off. For some perspective, 90% of CBD products out there actually test at 50% below their label claim.
  1. Stay away from CBD products stored in clear packaging with no other type of protection from the light. CBD is a very sensitive molecule, and the UV light breaks down and destroys the CBD. Even if the product is lab-tested, if it is stored in a clear package, there won't be much CBD left by the time it gets to you.

With these tips in mind, we hope that you’ll be a more savvy CBD user, and able to purchase products that will give you the greatest benefits. Here at Aqueous, we strive to deliver not only the highest-quality CBD but real advice that will help you in the long run.  Shop our third-party tested, premium CBD collection today.

Interesting how opposites attract. Yin and Yang, Black and White… Covid and Wellness? Yup, pretty much the top two words trending right now. But really not that odd of a couple when you think about it.

Happy Renew Year!
Happy Renew Year!

Of course, this is always the new year buzz, especially coming out of a year like 2020; chances are more bad habits have been made. Many of us got into new cycles that we’d like to break, change, or amend. Wine-to-wind-down more often than usual? Check. Netlfix on the couch more often than not? Yep, that too.
