Margarita “Margie” Floris is a self-made, successful Latina business executive and entrepreneur with an extensive career in the fashion, accessories and footwear industries. As a pioneer in her field, she has established herself as a leader in brand development and marketing through her experience in sales and management.
After obtaining a degree in Marketing and Management from the Tobe -Coburn School of Fashion in New York, Margie became the International Sales Manager for BCBG Max Azria. She led the management of launching its cutting-edge product line throughout the United Kingdom and parts of the Middle East, Hong Kong, Central and South America.
In 2001, Margie joined long time friend, Tina Aldatz, taking the footwear industry by storm launching an innovative line of custom insoles for women’s high heels, Foot Petals. Margie was instrumental in growing the Foot Petals brand globally through a well-maintained premier network of high-level relationships that enabled Foot Petals to be acquired by a publicly traded company. As a top executive for Foot Petals, Margie implemented a development strategy that led to positive consecutive growth every year positioning the company for an optimal acquisition.
Currently, Margie has taken her passion for health and wellness and launched Aqueous Wellness, a collection of CBD products featuring nano-encapsulated water-soluble CBD. Aqueous wellness is engineered to work in harmony with the human body and provide easy to dose high performing products.
Gary Sims has led global consumer product companies and advised private equity firms in the areas of strategic planning, branding, product development, supply chain, merchandising, sales, organizational development, licensing, omni-channel retailing, and global event management.
Encompassing over thirty years of experience, Gary has specialized in the areas of apparel and accessories and was part of the original team that drove the growth of the Tommy Hilfiger brand, as well as President of Ashworth Inc, where he also led the successful launch of Callaway Golf Apparel.
Since 2013, Gary has been the Founder & Principal of International Brands Group, which is a brand management company, and owner of a portfolio of brands and licenses in fashion, sport and wellness. He has launched and or led successful operations and transactions of several premium brands, including J Lindeberg USA, William Rast, Robert Graham Jeans, and Volition America.
Raised in New York, Gary resides in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife and two sons. He enjoys golf, fitness, reading, travel, and is a Folds of Honor Wingman
